Though the specified capacity & stroke of the jacks are designed for maximum safe working, we recommend to use the jacks for 85% of its rated capacity & stroke as safe working practice and for long life of the jacks.

Thumb rule for Puller selectionTo determine the max. force required to overcome the resistance, multiply shaft diameter in mm. by 40 and multiply the results thereof by 8 which gives you capacity of the puller to be used in kgs. For tons. divide kgs. by 1000.
ApplicationThese puller attachments are combined with hollow jacks and other accessories for removing gears, bearings, pullers, pulleys etc.

To reduce the closed height of the jack, there is no seal box. One has to monitor the lifting stroke since there would be a chance of ram coming out of the cylinder which would result in a accident and failure of jack. Place rigid base below the jack.
